House Prices in Long Island

It’s February, Happy February! The house prices in Long Island are in-January’s Real Estate Market Report. Two areas of which I’m going to share with you are Nassau County and Uniondale. 

Last month in January, 7 houses sold in Uniondale, the median sales price was $445,000. This is a 1.5% decreased from January 2020, where the median sales price home sold for $452,000. There are 22 houses on the market for sale in Uniondale and the median sales price is $536,500.


There are 1,017 houses that sold in January 2021, where the median sales price was $615,000. This is an increase of 12.8% from  January 2020, $545,000. There are 2664 houses for sale currently in NassauCounty, where the median sales price of a home currently in Nassau County is $798,444, Are you looking to buy? This is a great time to buy because of the very low interest rates. You’re looking to sell? Houses are selling at close to the asking price or above the asking price; thus this is a really good time for you to sell.
