Fuego Picante is a Guatemalan restaurant located at 913 Front St, Uniondale, NY. This is one of the hidden gems in Uniondale has outdoor dining for you to enjoy the outdoor ambiance.

Their menu is created from several dishes from different countries in Central America. You will notice that on their menu you can find meals from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Ever been curious to try food from any of these countries, Fuego Picante is the right place to do it.

You may enjoy a delicious meal at Fuego Picante and try any of the delicious dishes they serve you.  No matter what your preferences are, Fuego Picante offers you different options to choose from.You will find beef, pork, chicken or seafood dishes with the exotic flavor from Central American food. 

When you go to Fuego Picante you can actually try a Pupusa which is the typical food from El Salvador, it consists of a dish made of  a thick corn tortilla and stuffed with a savory filling – typical options include beef, beans, cheese, and pork. You may also choose a Baleada which is a typical plate from Honduras. This is a dish composed of a flour tortilla, filled with mashed fried red beans, thick cream mantequilla, and crumbled hard salty cheese or you can taste a Shuco, Guatemala’s Fully-Loaded Hot Dog. They usually come in a special toasted bun filled with mayo, ketchup, mustard, guacamole, split hot dogs, sauerkraut, and even sliced ham or bacon.
